Hi Harold, Yes her uncle Johnny and his wife Doris lived in Brooklyn Park as well as his brother Bud who lived on Richie Hwy. at the Starlight Drive Inn. That was built on to the house that they lived in. As well as the very large machine shop. (Roberts Coin Machines). Where they worked on Pinball and Slot machines, her dad Bud and uncle Johnny worked for their dad. This was her grandfathers place John Fox Roberts. Her uncle Johnny also did some Boxing. But she does not know much about his boxing in the ring but would like to know if you have any info on this part of his life. She also remembers at least 3 of her aunts Helen, Hester and Judy. Tp Mike Biddy: The Johnny Roberts I knew, that lived in Brooklyn Park with his wife Doris. I have had a lot of conversations with him and he only talked about his brother Bob who I think lived in Cockeysville or nearby. I think Johnny was born in Phoenix Md. around 1924. I do not know if he had any other brothers or sisters. If he did, I never was told. thanks.

Hi Harold Sears, my wife tells me that her dad's name is Walter "Buddy" Roberts and did not drive race cars. She said she not sure they called him Fireball on the racing circut but that is what she remembers that is what they call him around home when she was young. Thanks Mike

My father took me to Westport a couple of times when I was a kid. My real love was Dorsey Speedway. Boy, they were the days. Love looking at all the pictures of Dorsey. Thanks a million for bringing GREAT memories back. I wonder how many drivers are still living today???
