I'd like to take moment and mention two oldtimers. Diz Dean, Millers, Md., raced for over 50 years. He began his career in the racing in the Balto. area and raced htroughout the md-Pa-De area over the years. The second is Hal Browning, Georgetown, De., who is still competing at Delaware International Speedway in Delma, De. At 72 yrs of age Hal has won a couple of features in the ultra competitive Super Late Model series this year. He also set a Delaware track record earlier in the year. Hal started his career in racing at Westport stium and Dorsey Speedway.
